Week 48

Total weight lost: 135.6

Average Weekly Loss: 2.83

Back to my old weekly weight loss.  But I really don’t expect these losses, but I like them!  And, did you see?  My BMI is now 29.9.  Know what that means?  I’m not obese anymore!  Now, I’m “only” overweight.  Yeah, I know all the problems with the BMI chart, but I’m just really happy to be in this category.  40 pounds to normal.  Not sure if I’m ever going–or even want–to get there.  But for once, I’m happy to be overweight!  I’d love to get under 230 next week, but I’m definitely not going to push it.  Again, this is about a new lifestyle (as in I have my whole life to improve), not about hitting some number on some day, you know?

Also, I’m close to being under 40″ on my waist.  And my stomach is getting is also shrinking.  Yay!

    Yay to being overweight!!! Sounds strange but there it is.Another great loss!!! I swear you are a losing machine.Great job on the 5K. I have to get working on training for my 5K WALK in April. I can do it!

  2. I can remember when I crossed that threshold too Beej. While I don't think real highly of BMI, it still is a good measurement for us to see some progress.I agree with Kimberley – you are a losing machine!
